Whole numbers, decimal numbers, and small and big numbers can all be added using long addition.<br> Numerical addition relies on the fact that the sum does not change depending on the order in which the numbers were added. Nor is the value of any number affected by breaking it into its parts.<br> Write the numbers you want to add, one underneath another, aligning them by their place value.
